Frost Giant Update

I've finished the Queen as seen in my last post. I've just about finished the King, he just needs a wash in a couple of places to call him done. Then the two warriors are started, I've got the backgrounds of the fine details and most of the find details themselves done on them. It... Continue Reading →

Short Break

I haven't painted since before last week. I had surgery so I've been pretty out of it. I should get back to painting no later than tomorrow. I won't be working on the Goblins for a bit as I've got two pieces that I need done by Saturday evening. The two I'll be working on are: Ursula,... Continue Reading →

Shadows of Brimstone Resin Minis

Here are all of the resin minis that I currently own that I've been painting up over the last few weeks. Some of the pictures are not as sharp as others, I believe I need a new camera, and I'm still working out lighting levels on my light box. Hopefully, as my painting gets better so... Almost There

I painted up 6 more of the resin minis today. I have 3 left until I'm done with all of them. The end is so close, I'll probably finish it up in the next couple of days. I've still got washes to put on most of them and debating on giving them eyes or not.... Continue Reading →

Mini Count

I finished 5 minis yesterday, which brings me to 5 for the month and 28/150 for the year. I didn't sleep much last night so I'm not sure any painting will get done today. There are 22 more resin minis to do that will get started today or tomorrow. I took 22 pages of notes... Continue Reading →

It’s April…

Which means that all my resin minis need to be done by or before the end of the month. I've finished up the Void Magus and the Swamp Raptor, who isn't actually resin but he was a speed paint to get me going today. I've broken down all the minis on paper so I can... Continue Reading →

Shadows of Brimstone Update

All the minis have been primed. My primer did in fact stick, I'm still letting it cure so we'll see how well it worked once it's fully dry. I should be able to commence painting in the next day or two. I need to decide what I'm going to start with. With 27 models it's... Continue Reading →

Coming up

For the next month or so I'll be painting the Shadows of Brimstone resin minis and 4 plastic ones. This gives me 27 projects to do. There are 3 plastic ones not shown in the picture because they've already been cleaned and primed. This will be my first experience painting resin. Assembly was a pain... Continue Reading →

More work…

I did some fur highlighting on my Mousling Druid and softened up the OSL on the cape, I think it now looks much better.
